So the frig what if a bunch of people want to feel like they've accomplished a small victory by bumping that rubbish off the top spot? It's harmless fun.

They do (or at least certainly did three years ago, and I think still) make a lot of macs in Ireland. Macs made there have serial numbers which start CK. Apple were one of the top two employers there last time I heard (can't remember if they or Guinness were the biggest).

Whichever you have it�s normal for the doctor (I�ll not try to attempt and spell anestithologist <that�s why) to ask you to count down from ten, you won�t make seven before you�re under.
While you�re under you don�t dream, or at least I never have.
Coming round is the weird part as it�s not like waking up from sleep, it�s like when you are so tired you can�t keep your eyes open. You know when you�re sat in front of TV at night and the shopping channel comes on and you�re powerless to even lift the remote but can see the horror in front of you.
You�ll come round from the drugs like this and then drift back off to �normal� sleep ie sleep your body�s decided you need as opposed to drug induced.
Waking from that sleep is fairly normal except you�ll have to deal with the pain of whatever operation you just had. :(

Pardon my ignorance. I've never used a server before, but now that it is being opened up for free in Lion, is this something that I could benefit from? What can it be used for from average home consumers?
Not much. Most of the 'server' features are really only truly useful in server environments. About the only one I can see as useful for home use is WebDAV sharing for iPad. (i.e. right now the iPad can't see your Mac's network share, so you can't access files that are on your desktop from your iPad - with WebDAV sharing, according to that link, you can, easily.)

You can't be serious. The Holiday season is when online fraud is at it's peak, especially in places like NYC.

Following on from this story, apparently FoxConn will be supplying Apple with 15.4" MacBooks/MacBook Pros in May 2007.

I got a Nexus One on T-Mobile. My bill with 500 minutes (free nights and weekends) unlimited text, data plus taxes and fees comes to $65. Compare this to an AT&T plan and you pay more for just phone (less minutes). I would switch to the iPhone as soon I as can have it on my plan.

I liked the way the interface was positioned on virtual panes. The transitions were nice and did help orient yourself in a physical space. BUt that's about it. The rest is a pile of Android garbage.
I hate to be so harsh on Android. I really would like to see the UI improve. It's just so painfully obvious that Google doesn't really have strong top-down direction on streamlined user interfaces. It's run by developers who like tinkering and options. In other words, the OPPOSITE of what your consumer facing product interface should exude. I really believe it's a problem with design philosophy over there. Certainly, a rush to market is another large factor.

I looked into the 360 Arcade version and balked immediately because it sounds like something for people who never want to save a game.
The Arcade units have built in 256MB for game saves, so that isn't an issue. Of if you need more space, any USB drive can be formatted to use as well.

We both have to work together to get our marketshare up so we can get more shelf space. The amount of non-game software space is very dismal.* To buy a $2500 desktop Mac pro and see very little shelf units can be a hard purchase versus going into Best Buy and seeing rows of PC software.*

#3 is based on #1 and #2 and we are all coding to the same APIs here using the same tools.

Has anyone else found that after installing this their iPhone battery can not get enough charge to turn on? I'm popping into Regent Street this afternoon, but it would be useful to know if anyone else has had the same problem.
Tried a hard reset, and it's not Jailbroken or Pwned or anything.
UPDATE: iPhone is working again. Multiple hard resets, removing sim, unplugging seemed to do the trick.
Glad you fixed the issue but I don't understand how is it possible for a app that is not running in the background to give any issue when it's closed. You know that surely it was something with your phone and had nothing to do with the Facebook app
Tried a hard reset, and it's not Jailbroken or Pwned or anything.
UPDATE: iPhone is working again. Multiple hard resets, removing sim, unplugging seemed to do the trick.

I don't want a boring DVD. I want Lion to come on one of those cool MacBook Air-style memory sticks, only compatible with ThunderBolt.

This is great contrast. Love the yellow. Even though it's a bit centered it works because of the curves and the lighting. My suggestion is to go ahead and black out the sky that's showing through. To me it makes it even stronger. I tried cropping it and I think it looks better at it's current size with the sky blacked out.
